Whittier Heights Village
The Story
With 15 units, case management services, kitchen, laundry, and restroom/shower facilities, Whittier Heights Village provides a safer place for female identifying individuals experiencing homelessness, to transition into permanent housing. Referrals come through the City of Seattle’s HOPE Team.
Built by Women for Women, a female focused carpentry apprenticeship program, with help from Home Street Bank and United Church, this village was made by womxn, for womxn!
