7544 Martin Luther King Jr Way S, Seattle, WA 98118
The Story
Located in the Othello neighborhood of Seattle, this village features 30 tiny houses which provide safe and supported enhanced shelter for up to 65 people. On-site case managers help with housing navigation, employment searches, health care and other services.
Othello was the first shelter that received funding from the city of Seattle, and was one the first tiny house villages in the state of Washington. It is sponsored by the Truevine of Holiness Missionary Baptist Church, which has supported the village since its inception. Referrals come through the City of Seattle’s HOPE Team.
