The ground floor of McDermott Place houses North Helpline, a new Lake City Foodbank, and a free medical clinic staffed by RotaCare and Neighborcare staff and volunteers. The building is named in honor of Washington state congressman Jim McDermott, a tireless advocate for affordable housing.
