Opening of Section 8 Waitlist at The Clay Apartments 2/3/25 10:00 AM – 2/7/25 4:30 PM
Important Update: Due to an error with the fax number provided on the rental pre-application, and to ensure that all applications were able to be submitted, the waitlist for The Clay Apartments will remain open until further notice, effective immediately.
Any complete applications submitted after February 7, 2025 will be accepted and processed in the order they were received.
This waitlist is for studio apartments only, with a maximum income limit of 30% Area Median Income, currently $31,620 for an individual. These apartments are reserved for households that are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Pre-applications will be processed in the order received. Incomplete pre-applications will not be accepted.
LIHI recommends bringing the following documents when applying in person:
• Government-issued photo ID
• Social Security card
• Documentation of income (e.g., Social Security, VA, DSHS letters, recent tax returns, pay stubs)
• Asset documentation (e.g., recent bank statements, current cash card balance printout)
Completing a full application does not guarantee move-in to a currently vacant unit.

The Clay Apartments are all studio apartment units for homeless veterans, singles, and couples. The building has accessible common spaces and communal computer access.
