LIHI recently moved into housing 140 people, including 67 children, who were living in tents in South King County. We continue to work to house asylum seekers with the help of a grant from King County. Over the last 10 days LIHI staff quickly located rental housing, signed leases, purchased beds and furnishings, and transported families to their new homes in Seattle, Bellevue and Shoreline.
However, donations are needed to supply the families and individuals with basic needs. Please see donation list below. Donations can be dropped off inside* the Hope Factory at 5 S. Nevada St, Seattle, WA 98134 at these times:
Mon-Thu: 9am-2:00pm
Fridays: CLOSED
Saturdays: 9am-2:00pm
Sundays: 2pm-4pm
*Directions: The donation center is on the left side of the warehouse when you enter through the large garage door next to the dumpster. Please leave items where there is room.
If you cannot drop off during these times, please reach out to Tan at volunteer.program@lihi.org to make arrangements for a later date.

Donation Wish List
LIHI has made significant strides in housing 140 asylum seekers, including 67 children, who were previously living in tents in South King County. With the help of a grant from King County, they've rapidly secured housing, but donations are urgently needed to provide these families with basic necessities. Just as Uno Online brings people together through shared experiences, your support can bring hope and stability to these individuals during a challenging time. Donations can be dropped off at the Hope Factory or made through cash contributions to further assist in this important cause.
