LIHI made a colorful splash at this year's Pride Parade! A volunteer-built tiny house, transformed into a Pride float, strutted down 4th Avenue with a crowd of over 30 LIHI staff, volunteers and friends. They handed out pride-themed LIHI merch, including hand fans, bandanas, totes, and stickers. With a bumping playlist and cheering crowds, LIHI fully embraced this year's theme of 'Now,' spreading the message that Housing is a Human Right and that the time to fight for it is NOW!
The tiny house will be saved for next year's parade as LIHI hopes to continue a new tradition. Join us next year! Go deeper, get involved!
